It is highly advisable that adult supervision is made available when Pleo is handled by children below the age of 8.

DO NOT leave Pleo unattended in the presence of other live animals (eg. dogs, cats, etc) as they may accidentally bite or damage Pleo.

Though Pleo is very tough and durable, please be extra careful when holding, handling or playing with Pleo near its head and neck area. DO NOT grab or hold Pleo by its neck or its head!

Though Pleo has sensors to detect its surroundings and avoid obstacles lying in its path, DO NOT immediately position or put Pleo near the edge of any surface, it may miss the edge, fall off and get damaged. If you intend to put Pleo on the edge of a higher ground/surface, please ensure that it is at least a few metres away from the edge as this gives it time to detect the "threat" ahead and avoid it on its own.

Take note that Pleo has a forward sensor but not a reverse sensor and therefore it cannot detect threats/obstacles behind it.

Do not allow Pleo to get wet and DO NOT feed it with water or any food.
